Diploma is recognized worldwide and global mobility is made possible.
Emphases on both theoretical and hand-on learning. Therefore, every department aggressively promotes corporation internship which includes a two-month summer internship, a semester and a year-long professional internships in order to strengthen students’ in-fields experience. The companies in collaboration with 0n-the-job practical training include Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp., Unimicron, General Optics Crop., ASE, SCI Pharmtech, and etc. It enables students to become familiar with the working environment and also enhance competitiveness for carrier preparation/employment. Since 2013, we have held the Exhibition of Internships to encourage student’s active participation in off-campus interns to enhance professional skills and learn new knowledge.
Faculty members have engaged in scientific/engineering projects as well as industrial collaboration projects. The percentage of industrial collaboration projects vs. overall R&D budget is among the best in the country. Most of the faculty members have the knowledge and experience in resolving engineering practical problems.
The quality and quantity of the SCI/SSCI journal papers published are in the leading position in the engineering field among all domestic universities. Faculty members conduct fundamental scientific/engineering research to gain world-wide recognition.
To broaden students’ global perspectives by promoting international research cooperation, and strengthening international exchange/dual degree programs.
