With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technologies, smart manufacturing is entering a new era of intelligent transformation. The demand from industry for talents with strong AI application capabilities continues to grow. To strengthen collaboration between academia and industry and to cultivate practice-oriented professionals, this AI Application Talent Bootcamp is specially organized.

II.
The 2026 Smart Manufacturing Rising Star – AI Application Talent Bootcamp is jointly organized by the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association (TAIROA) in collaboration with leading enterprises, including FANUC Taiwan, Mitsubishi Electric Taiwan (FA Division), KUKA Taiwan, Hiwin Technologies, Pegatron Corporation, Loh Shun Industrial Co., Ltd., LIPS Corporation (with more partners to be announced).
This program provides students with valuable opportunities to engage directly with enterprises. Under the guidance of senior industry mentors, participants will take part in hands-on projects to accelerate professional skill development and build strong core competitiveness for future careers in smart manufacturing.

III.
Eligible applicants include junior and senior undergraduate students, as well as first- and second-year graduate students from engineering and related STEM fields. After passing enterprise interviews, selected students will participate in the bootcamp during the summer break.
The application deadline is May 15. Eligible students are warmly encouraged to apply.

IV.
The bootcamp will take place from July 1 (Wednesday) to August 28 (Friday), 2026, and includes the following components:

  1. A three-day series of professional training courses with a strong focus on practical AI applications.
  2. An eight-week enterprise internship, during which students will carry out project-based practical training under the guidance of industry mentors. This experience enables early industry engagement, shortens the transition period into the workplace, and enhances opportunities for future employment matching.
